Chelsea Fertility NYC Hosts Successful IVF+PGD Workshop
On October 7th, Chelsea Fertility of New York City hosted an informative IVF+PGD Workshop. The evening included an exciting raffle for a FREE IVF cycle along with an in-depth Q&A session with our own Dr. Beth Hartog and Dr. Paul Gindoff.
Dr. Hartog and Dr. Gindoff answered the attendees most pressing questions about In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Pre Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), including: When is IVF with PGD recommended and how does it work? Do I need an egg donor or gestational surrogate? What is the cost of IVF with PGD, and what are my chances for success with both?
Our Free IVF cycle raffle winner, Rachel, was kind enough to write about her experience at our workshop and what brought her to Chelsea Fertility NYC in the first place:
"I found out about Chelsea Fertility NYC while I was doing some online research. I have a rare genetic disorder "Galactosemia". This means that I am unable to consume dairy, but also that I have premature ovarian failure. I am optimistic that through miracles of modern medicine, having an IVF session will allow me to become the mother that I always dream of becoming.
I am 35 years old. I thought that I might be too old to consider having children of my own. As it turns out, Chelsea Fertility NYC has years of experience helping older clients. Dr. Hartog shared with me that personally she was able to conceive for the first time at the age of 39, and she currently has three healthy children.
Chelsea Fertility NYC offers a wide range of services. In their cozy office in the city, they have the space to offer egg freezing, blastocyst transfer, IVF, ICSI, and PDG. I was excited to learn about their holistic approach to fertility and that they have an acupuncturist.
Last Wednesday night, I took an hour to stop over to their office for a workshop. I was most impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dr. Hartog and Dr. Gindoff were able to answer questions in a relaxed setting. As a result of attending this evening, I plan on making an appointment to be seen here."
