Chelsea Fertility of New York City was recently awarded accreditation by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAASF), an organization that develops standards to improve medical care, surgical care, patient safety, and patient outcomes. Since 1980, AAASF has been known as the “Gold Standard” for quality patient care by using standards developed by physicians, for physicians. An accreditation from the AAASF places Chelsea Fertility NYC among the top IVF laboratoriesin the country, making it one of only 2,000 outpatient facilities with this prestigious designation in the United States.
Chelsea Fertility NYC offers its patients a boutique fertility experience, and a comprehensive fertility treatment program that meets all AAASF safety and physician experience requirements. All AAASF facilities are regularly inspected and are required to meet 100% of AAASF regulations. This means that physicians who perform office-based surgeries must have hospital privileges, their facilities must be peer reviewed, and all surgical environments and equipment must meet specific quality and safety standards. In addition to meeting the above requirements, Chelsea Fertility of New York City is also proud to have two physicians – Dr. Beth Hartog and Dr. Paul Gindoff – who hold medical faculty positions at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
