One Year of Chelsea Fertility NYC: A Review

After celebrating our first year providing fertility treatment and care in New York City, the physicians and staff of Chelsea Fertility NYC are proud to wrap up 2015 on a high note. This year was an important year for many in the fertility community, and it also marked another year’s worth of efforts for those who work so hard to advocate for fertility awareness, fertility insurance coverage and support for those taking an unexpected route on the journey to parenthood. We wanted to look back on some of our most popular blog posts of the past year.

  • In addition to celebrating one year at Chelsea Fertility NYC, Drs. Hartog and Gindoff also celebrating 10 years of clinical partnership. In the last decade, Dr. Hartog and Dr. Gindoff built a fertility clinic where patients can be consulted and treated in an open and encouraging atmosphere.   • Spring 2015 brought the launch of Chelsea Fertility NYC’s ‘Egg Exchange Program’ for same-sex female couples. This affordable program provides lesbian couples with an opportunity for both partners are able to take place in the family building process. During the egg exchange program, one partner provides the eggs and the other partner is implanted with the embryo and will carry the baby. Read more about the program here.

Dr. Jones and his wife, Georgeanna, pioneered in vitro fertilization (IVF) in the early 1980s. The two were responsible for the IVF program that led to the birth of the first baby born through IVF in the U.S.
