From the east side of Greenwich Village, our office is a straightforward single-seat ride on the 6 from Bleecker Street. From the west side of the Village it is a slightly longer trip involving either a walk east first or a transfer at 14th Street. Which side of Sixth Avenue you live on genuinely changes the answer.
It depends which side of Sixth Avenue you start on
From Washington Square Park or anywhere east of Sixth Avenue, walk to the 6 at Bleecker Street and ride north to 33rd Street. From the station, walk east to Park and north four blocks. Roughly fifteen to twenty minutes door to door.
From west of Sixth Avenue, the F or M at West 4th Street runs up Sixth to 34th Street–Herald Square, from where the walk crosstown to Park is another ten minutes. If you would rather stay on one line, walk east to the 6 at Bleecker — often the faster overall trip.
