Fertility Care for Tribeca Patients

Tribeca is one of the two longest trips of the fifteen neighborhoods we serve, alongside SoHo. From Canal Street the 6 train uptown to 33rd Street is a single-seat ride, but it is genuinely a commute — twenty-five minutes or more, depending on the time of day. For a consultation or an infrequent visit that is nothing. For the frequent monitoring visits of an IVF or IUI cycle, it is a real commitment, and one worth being honest about before starting.

The 6 from Canal Street — plan around rush hour

Take the 6 uptown from Canal Street or Franklin Street to 33rd Street. From the station, walk east to Park and north four blocks to 37th. Twenty-five to thirty minutes door to door is realistic, longer at morning rush.

For early-morning monitoring appointments in particular, a car service up the FDR is often the more predictable option and takes fifteen to twenty minutes outside rush hour. Many of our Tribeca patients use the subway for consultations and switch to a car for the two-week monitoring windows.
