From SoHo, the practical route to us is short and simple: the 6 train from Spring Street uptown to 33rd Street, then a walk east to Park Avenue. Twenty minutes, no transfer, on one of the most reliable lines in the system. For consultations and the occasional visit that is genuinely easy. For the frequent monitoring visits of an IVF cycle it is a real daily commitment, and worth naming rather than glossing over.
The 6 from Spring Street
Take the 6 uptown from Spring Street or Bleecker Street to 33rd Street. From the exit, walk east to Park and north four blocks to 37th. Twenty minutes door to door is a reasonable estimate for most SoHo addresses.
The N/R/W at Prince Street is not a useful route to us — it runs on the Broadway line and would leave you at 34th Street–Herald Square with a crosstown walk east. From the west side of SoHo near West Broadway, walking to the 6 at Spring is the more direct move.
