How to Get the Most Out Of a Fertility Consultation

by Chelsea Fertility NYCPosted in Chelsea Fertility NYCNovember 30th, 2015

At Chelsea Fertility of New York City, we understand that your first consultation with our practice is very important. This initial visit to our office is when you’ll get to know our team of specialists who will provide assistance on your journey to parenthood.

We look forward to speaking with you and learning about your fertility history, as well as creating an effective treatment plan that can help you achieve parenthood. These consultations are the foundation of an important journey, so we’ve prepared a few helpful tips that can keep your first visit to Chelsea Fertility NYC as productive and stress-free as possible.

How do I make an appointment with Chelsea Fertility of New York City?

It’s easy to make an appointment and there are two convenient ways to do so. First, you can call our office at (212) 685-2229 and speak with our staff to schedule a date and time that work best for you. You can also fill out a contact form online and choose if you’d like our staff to connect with you via email, phone, or postal.

We offer evening appointments until 7 p.m. every Tuesday in order to best fit our patient’s busy schedules.

I’ve made my appointment. What’s next?

Even with a date and time set for your appointment, there are still a few things you can do to make the most out of your appointment and cut down on any wait time you may experience upon arrival. We recommend that new patients download and fill out a Fertility History form one to three business days before your appointment. Once completed, email the form to [email protected] and attach a copy of your insurance card (front and back) to the email. Please include your last name in the email’s subject line.

My Fertility History form is submitted and my appointment is in a few days. What’s next?

We recommend that those visiting for a fertility consultation consider preparing a list of questions and concerns ahead of time in order to make the most of out of your time with either Dr. Beth Hartog or Dr. Paul Gindoff. Dr. Hartog and Dr. Gindoff encourage that patients voice their concerns at any point during the treatment process, including during an initial consultation.

Should you have any questions prior to your fertility consultation, we ask that you please contact our office directly and we’ll be happy to speak with you.
